My Responsibility
As a teacher, my responsibility is to provide an atmosphere for learning and a well-balanced musical education. Professional standards will be maintained and goals established for each student.
It is my objective to give your child the best possible music education. I belong to professional organizations, attend workshops, subscribe to professional publications, and engage in other activities on a continual basis in order to provide opportunities for professional growth and enhance my own teaching skills. |
I believe in providing quality music lessons that are
current, encouraging and fun.
I believe in music lessons that focus not only on learning the notes,
but the enjoyment of learning and sharing music.
I continue to engage in several forms of professional development
to ensure that what I teach is pedagogically sound.
It is my priority to teach students how to practice
so that they become independent musicians.
I believe an enthusiasm for music can be passed on to students
for a lifetime of enjoyment.
I believe music can boost self-esteem, enrich our community,
and be a vehicle to glorify God.
I believe students have the right to make mistakes, develop their creativity,
and perform from the heart.
I believe my studio is unique, progressive and that my students
will continue to be my inspiration to make music a delight!
